Caring for your earthenware
Our terracotta pieces are unglazed, natural, and porous — just as tradition intended. With a little care, they’ll last for years and age beautifully.
💧 For Water Storage:
Slight "sweating" on the surface is normal — it’s how the clay naturally cools the water.
Store in a well-ventilated area and place on a coaster or tray to catch any moisture
🍲 For Cooking Use:
Always start with low heat and increase gradually.
Avoid sudden temperature changes (e.g. cold water on a hot pot).
Suitable for gas stoves and open flames (not induction).
Soak in water for 15–30 minutes before first use to strengthen the clay.
🧼 Cleaning Tips:
Rinse with warm water and a soft brush or cloth.
Avoid dish soap (unless mild and natural).
Let dry completely before storing to prevent mold.
🌱 Health Benefits:
Terracotta may balance pH levels, aid digestion, and naturally mineralize food and water.
